Pop star Jennifer Lopez has been getting singing advice from her Latino husband Marc Anthony, because she feared she wasn't good enough.
The Waiting For Tonight performer suffered from anxiety about her ability while recording a new, un-named track, until a crash course from her singing spouse restored her confidence.
She says, "The song I was about to record was a beautiful ballad. Marc just looked at me and he said, 'Jennifer, read the words, sing the words. Don't think about your voice, think about what you are singing.'" The couple, meanwhile, claim their Hispanic roots help them to understand each other.
Lopez says, "My husband is from my culture, from my background and he totally understands me both emotionally and creatively. He is the first person to give me total confidence as an artist."
Meanwhile in other news Jennifer Lopez showed off her passionate side in her new Spanish-language album Como Ama Una Mujer, after being "emotionally restrained" singing in English.

After four studios albums in English - On The 6, J.LO, This Is Me... Then and Rebirth - Lopez returned to her Puerto Rican roots and recorded her new album solely in Spanish.
Lopez says, "I like singing in Spanish because its a bit more dramatic. In English we have to play it cool, but in Spanish, we can be passionate."

Jessica Smith of Laguna Beach busted for D.U.I.
I personally think this is just rather sad.
Jessica Smith, ex reality star of MTV's "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after allegedly causing an injury crash on the Santa Ana Freeway. Cops say Smith, 19 (seriously -- 19!), of Laguna Beach, was driving a Volkswagen Beetle and slammed it into the back of an Acura, causing "great bodily injury" to people in both cars. The CHP report said that her level of intoxication, unsafe speed and wet roadways were conditions that led to the crash. The driver of the Acura, Roy Hernandez of Lake Forest, sustained minor injuries. A passenger in Jessica's car, Lindsay Cooper, 20, suffered minor injuries.Police sources tell TMZ that Smith is still being held in an Orange County jail. Her bail was set at $100,000. Smith is due in court tomorrow morning.Smith's ex-boyfriend, Laguna star Jason Wahler has been arrested several times in several states for several reasons.

There are rumors flying around that Mr.Chris Rock has another child, and not with his current wife! Shocking news?! Yes I know shocking for me too, here's what has been said.
According to the National Enquirer, a 35 year old woman named Kali Bowyer is claiming that Chris Rock is the mother of her 13 year old son, Jordan. She has gone public with the news now because her son has been suffering from seizures and she says that knowing Chris' medical history will help them figure out what's causing them. On March 15th, she she filed papers in a Georgia court, demanding Chris submit to a paternity test and pay child support, medical coverage and attorney fees.
Kali says that she wants Chris to pay for child support, medical coverage and legal fees. She said,
I don't want a dime for myself, but support for my son. My son's 13 now and he knows what's going on. He told me the other day, 'I don't need him in my life, just to take the test so I can find out what's wrong with me.'
Kali said she met Chris in the 1990s at an LA nightclub, when she was 21, and the two hooked up "six or eight times." She had been trying to get support from Chris, "from the time my Jordan was born until he was 3, I was talking to Chris' lawyer, trying to get this resolved." She said she kept getting brushed off, even after she obliged their requests for Jordan's birth certificate, baby photos, and her pregnancy medical records. She said,
I complied, I was nice, and I was patient, but in the end Chris still refused to acknowledge paternity. I just think that it's rude that Chris just won't respond. His attorneys exact words were, 'This is going to disrupt his life.'
Kali would like to tell Chris,
Take five minutes, tell your wife you're out for a cup of coffee, go to the doctor's office and get the DNA test done. In five days we'll have an answer.
Chris has two daughters, Lola, 4 1/2, and Zahra, 2 1/2, with his wife Malaak Compton-Rock.
